Getting Started

To register your business:

  1. Sign up at naijabased.fun
  2. Complete your KYC verification
  3. Go to "My Businesses" section
  4. Click "Suggest Business for Listing" or "Claim Existing Business"
  5. Submit required business documents
  6. Wait for approval (usually within 24-48 hours)

KYC (Know Your Customer) verification is required to ensure the security and legitimacy of all businesses on our platform. This helps prevent fraud and builds trust with customers.

Required documents:

  • Government-issued ID
  • Proof of business registration (if applicable)
  • Recent utility bill
  • Business location verification

Business Verification

Business approval typically takes 24-48 hours after submitting all required documents. You'll receive an email notification once your business is approved or if additional information is needed.

If your business is not approved, we'll provide specific reasons and guidance on what needs to be corrected. Common reasons include:

  • Incomplete documentation
  • Unverifiable business information
  • Business type not currently supported
  • Location outside Nigerian area

Payments & Withdrawals

After business approval:

  1. Login to shop.naijabased.fun
  2. Go to "Payment Settings"
  3. Add your bank account details
  4. Connect with Paystack or Flutterwave
  5. Test payment integration

Payments are processed as follows:

  • Next-day availability: Payments are available in your business wallet the following day according to Paystack's processing schedule
  • Withdrawal approval: Withdrawals are subject to approval but are usually processed immediately
  • Urgent requests: Contact [email protected] with business ownership proof for immediate processing

Yes, but with limitations for security:

  • You can change bank accounts once within any 7-day period
  • Additional changes require manual approval
  • Contact support for emergency bank account changes

Order Management

Order workflow:

  1. You'll receive order notifications via email
  2. Login to your dashboard at shop.naijabased.fun
  3. Review the order in "Pending Orders"
  4. Accept the order to generate payment link
  5. Payment link is automatically sent to customer
  6. Only process orders with successful payment confirmation emails

Currently, delivery arrangements are handled directly between vendors and customers:

  • Coordinate delivery or pickup with customer
  • Clearly communicate delivery timelines and costs
  • Update order status in your dashboard
  • We're working on logistics partnerships for future automated delivery solutions
