1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using naijabased Shop, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part, you may not access our platform.

2. Business Registration & Verification

2.1 Eligibility

• Must be a legitimate business operating in Nigerian area
• Business owner must be at least 18 years old
• Must possess valid business registration documents (where applicable)
• Must complete KYC verification process

2.2 KYC Requirements

• Government-issued identification
• Proof of business address
• Business registration certificate (if registered)
• Recent utility bill
• Tax identification number (where applicable)

3. Payment Processing

3.1 Payment Providers

We use Paystack and Flutterwave for secure payment processing. By using our platform, you agree to their respective terms of service.

3.2 Vendor Account Setup

• Vendors must add bank account details in payment settings
• Account verification is required before processing payments
• Bank account changes are limited to once within 7 days for security

3.3 Payment Settlement

• Payments are available in business wallet the following day (Paystack schedule)
• Withdrawals are subject to approval but typically processed immediately
• Urgent withdrawal requests require business ownership proof

4. Order Management

4.1 Order Processing

• Orders are sent to vendor email with dashboard login instructions
• Vendors must accept orders to generate payment links
• Payment links are automatically sent to customers
• Only confirmed paid orders should be fulfilled

4.2 Delivery & Logistics

• Currently, delivery arrangements are between vendor and customer
• Clearly communicate delivery timelines and costs
• Update order status promptly in the dashboard
• We're working on logistics partnerships for future automated solutions

5. Fees & Commissions

• Transaction fees are clearly displayed during setup
• Fees may vary based on payment method and transaction size
• All fees are deducted before settlement to your wallet
• We reserve the right to adjust fees with 30 days notice

6. Prohibited Activities

• Fraudulent or deceptive business practices
• Selling prohibited or illegal items
• Multiple account creation to bypass restrictions
• Attempting to manipulate reviews or ratings
• Violating intellectual property rights
• Spamming or harassing customers

7. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Violation of these terms
• Suspicious or fraudulent activity
• Failure to complete KYC verification
• Multiple customer complaints
• Legal or regulatory requirements

8. Limitation of Liability

naijabased Shop is not liable for:

• Disputes between vendors and customers
• Delivery issues or product quality
• Payment processor outages or errors
• Third-party service interruptions
• Direct, indirect, or consequential damages

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in courts located in Akure, Ondo State.
